As a 25-year member and mental health practitioner, I'm committed to increasing mental health tools and resources for all members, as well as creating safer and healthier performance spaces for youth. With experience in film/tv/commercial/digital/VO/theater, I bring a cross-disciplinary, accessibility-minded, and trauma-informed lens to each conversation. Let's build a healthier, more sustainable industry that integrates wellbeing into our work.
Candidate Bio
Alyson Stoner is a multi-disciplinary entertainer, author, and founder of Movement Genius, a mental health company providing therapist-led content to improve well-being. As writer and host of Dear Hollywood podcast, Stoner advocates for industry and policy reform centering the protection of children in traditional and digital media. Holding seven certifications, they’ve contributed to programming for the United Nations, World Health Organization, LGBT centers, and universities.
During childhood, Stoner appeared in 200+ films, TV shows, and projects. Today, they focus on impact-driven initiatives, like designing Artist Wellbeing Essentials, a digital toolkit helping performers pursue their passion in a healthy, sustainable way.
