Candidate Bio
Jason T. Gaffney has been performing since the age of 6 when he was the littlest orphan in a production of Oliver! Since finding his love of acting he has worked on many indie films and TV shows and is a fierce advocate for LGBT+ performers, Performers with Disabilities, and making sets safe. After serving as a strike captain in the most recent TV/Theatrical strike, he has become a member of the LA Local Organizing, Conservatory, Strike Preparedness, MORE, and Performers with Disabilities committees as well as a member of the National Strike Preparedness Committee. Major issues for me are creating safe sets, getting more Performers with Disabilities roles and representation on screen, and getting more LGBT+ performers roles and representation on screen.
