Candidate Statement

As a proud SAG-AFTRA member since 2014, I deeply appreciate my fellow singers/actors in a career that is often isolating and competitive. The fruits of our collective bargaining are lifesaving. Yet, in the 6 years I've served on the LA Local Singers Committee, as an organizer for singers during strike, and as a delegate in the national convention, I've witnessed each negotiation chip away at our livelihoods and our unity, as we struggle to adapt to this industry landslide. We need collaboration, transparency, and sustainable advocacy from peers who will fight hard for all of us principal performers.

Candidate Bio

A proud SAG-AFTRA member since 2014, Kenton has performed with Katy Perry, Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, and Kesha, and appeared in dozens of national commercials and TV shows. He's most known online for his musical collaborations with Postmodern Jukebox and Scary Pockets. As a union member, he's served on the LA Local Singers Committee (6+ years), as an organizer for singers during strike, and as a delegate in the national convention. When not performing, he enjoys tequila, improvisational cooking, and NPR.
