Lizza Monet Morales

Candidate: Convention Delegate

Candidate Bio

I’m Lizza Monet Morales, an award-winning actor, producer, and lifelong activist. I proudly served as a Strike Captain during our recent fight for fair contracts. I have had the honor to actively serve on over eight SAG-AFTRA committees and subcommittees, including the National Latino, L.A. Government Affairs and Public Policy, L.A. More, L.A. Strike Captain, L.A. Women’s, L.A. Conservatory, L.A. Technology, and L.A. Self-Tape committees.

I’ve also traveled to Sacramento with SAG-AFTRA multiple times to advocate to elected officials on behalf of our membership, fighting for policies that protect and uplift our community. This includes asking for their support to bring production back to Los Angeles and for the now expanded Film and TV Tax Credit Program.

I’m running for Convention Delegate because I’m passionate about continuing the work of strengthening our union, protecting members’ rights, and ensuring every voice is heard, especially those from historically underrepresented communities. I am committed to building a more equitable, empowered, and united SAG-AFTRA for all.
